第６回理学部HiSEPセミナー（7月18日（金）３限に開催）は、中国・深圳市MSU-BIT UniversityのWensong Bai先生に、情報・経済・グローバルをつなぐ最先端の情報科学分野の英語セミナーをお願いしました。テクノロジーとしての情報のみならず、社会へ及ぼす影響も視野に入れたお話になると思います。学部・学科を問わず多くの学生の皆さんのご参加をお待ちしています。

概要： This lecture examines the digital economy’s evolution and its impact on global trade and economic systems. It introduces core “ABCD” technologies—AI, Blockchain, Cloud computing, and Big Data—and their role in driving digital transformation. Key topics include the disruption of traditional sectors through platformization and data monetization, the unique economic nature of data, and issues of ownership and governance. The lecture also explores international regulatory approaches, focusing on the EU’s GDPR, China’s state-led controls, and the U.S.’s market-driven model, concluding with challenges in global data governance and emerging legislation like the EU AI Act.
